About your problem-solver

I'm Matthew – a CPA who actually likes solving problems (especially the weird ones).

I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2019 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting. Since then, I've collected a "resume bingo card" that most CPAs don't hit until retirement: I've prepared just about every tax form imaginable, audited private companies and government/nonprofit entities, helped run mid-sized businesses from an operations standpoint, served as a quality control manager early in my career, and taught future CPAs as a professor at Alma College.

I opened my practice in 2022 because I didn't want to be a "tax return only" CPA. I wanted to be the person clients go to when they need clarity, structure, and someone who can take a problem off their plate and actually finish it without passing it off.

My expertise covers tax, accounting, payroll, compliance, business operations, and (when it makes sense) web/software solutions too. In short: If you're trying to run a business and keep it clean, compliant, and profitable, all while keeping tax dollars in your pocket, you've found your guy.
